Juan Nunez is the president of Creative Enterprises. Juan posses
over 25 years experience in the tennis industry. As a professional,
Juan played on the ATP Tour from 1979 to 1981. Juan reached a
career high world ranking of #145. During his time on the ATP Tour
Juan played against top professionals, John McEnroe, Guillermo Vilas,
Jose Luis Clerc, Gene Mayer and Andres Gomez among others. As a
coach, Juan coached some of the biggest names in tennis. From
1988-1996, Juan coached professional players such as: Chris Evert,
Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario, Lori McNeil, Brenda Schultz-McCarthy,
Natalia Zvereva and Gabriela Sabatini.
Under Juan's Direction:
Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario won her first French Open title in 1989
Gabriela Sabatini won The WTA Championships in 1994 and Sydney
in 1995.
Brenda Schultz -McCarthy achieved her first two singles titles;
1992 Birmingham and 1991 Schenectady.
In 1992 Natalia Zvereva won three Grand Slam Doubles Titles
and reached the singles quarterfinals of the French Open and
Wimbledon.
Lori McNeil won Birmingham in 1993.
Bethanie Mattek climbed from 520 to 125 in the WTA rankings,
Juan Nunez has excelled as a professional tennis director, he has an
extensive background in the organization and coordination of tennis
operations as well as tournaments, activities and events. Juan exhibits
strong managerial skills as well as extensive experience in the
development of amateur and professional players nationally and
internationally. Juan is fluent in English and Spanish.
He has been recognized as the United States Professional Tennis
Association's PLAYER OF THE YEAR in 1985, 1986 and 1987. He
also received the COACH OF THE YEAR from the United States
Professional Tennis Association - Florida Division in 1989.
